Your information.

This notice explains how FRGD uses information to provide private golf coaching, deliver messages and keep your coaching record.

Last updated: 1 October 2026

1. Who is responsible for your information?

Keri Rousey, trading as FRGD Golf, at Wayside, West Kitty, St Agnes, Cornwall TR5 0SU, United Kingdom, is responsible for the personal information used by the FRGD coaching service at frgd.app.

Privacy and data requests

Email christian@frgd.golf, visit Contact & billing support, contact Christian through your member Send It inbox, or message the FRGD business number on WhatsApp at +44 7596 098470. Say that your message is a privacy or data request. You can request access or deletion even if your membership has ended.

2. What information FRGD handles

FRGD receives information directly from you, from Christian's coaching work, and from the providers that deliver the features you use. Send only information needed for your coaching; avoid including unrelated sensitive information or information about other people.

3. Why the information is used

FRGD uses account details and coaching material to provide the service you request: member access, swing analysis, coaching conversations, appointment management and your personal coaching record. The lawful basis for necessary service processing is performance of our contract with you, or steps you request before entering that contract.

FRGD relies on consent for optional session recording and for the WhatsApp messaging choice. You can withdraw consent using the contact routes above. Withdrawal does not change the lawfulness of processing before it was withdrawn. You can decline recording; contact Christian to arrange a suitable coaching alternative.

FRGD uses necessary technical records for legitimate interests in protecting accounts, preventing misuse, diagnosing failures and maintaining a reliable coaching service. It may also keep or disclose records when required by law.

Basic account and contact details are needed for private member access. Without relevant swing material, Christian may be unable to provide the analysis you request. Optional WhatsApp use is not required to use the member app.

4. WhatsApp messages

When you agree to FRGD service messages, your number is connected to your member account. FRGD uses Meta's official WhatsApp Business Platform for appointment invitations, coaching notifications and selected replies.

Messages and supported attachments that you send to the FRGD number may be copied into Send It. FRGD stores relevant message identifiers, delivery states and service events to process the conversation and resolve delivery failures. An unrecognised sender's message may be held for identification rather than attached to a guessed member account.

You can stop WhatsApp service messages by sending STOP to the FRGD number or asking Christian through Send It. Opting out does not automatically delete your existing coaching record. WhatsApp and Meta also process information under their own terms and privacy policy.

5. Providers and private access

FRGD uses Vercel to host the app, Supabase for accounts, records and uploaded media, LiveKit for live rooms and recording, Backblaze B2 for evaluation recordings, Cloudflare for media delivery and processing infrastructure, OpenAI's API for evaluation transcription and draft summaries, and Meta / WhatsApp for messaging. Each receives the information needed for the feature it provides.

Private coaching material is restricted through account permissions and private media access. Christian reviews and approves evaluation outcomes before they become member coaching evidence. AI-produced transcripts and summaries may contain mistakes; they do not independently publish a coaching plan. FRGD does not use this workflow to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects solely by automated processing.

Some providers operate internationally, including in the United States, and may process information outside the UK. Contact Christian for information about the locations and contractual safeguards applicable to a particular feature. FRGD may disclose information where necessary to meet a legal obligation or protect the security of the service.

6. How long information is kept

Coaching history, messages and recordings are kept according to their continuing purpose: providing your coaching service, maintaining the progress history you use, resolving a request or dispute, and meeting applicable legal requirements. Membership ending does not itself automatically erase Locker history or stored recording copies.

Retention decisions take account of the type of record, whether it is still needed, your requests and any legal obligation to keep it. Backups and separately stored media can outlast a change to an app record, so a deletion request must be checked across the relevant storage providers. Ask Christian if you need the retention position for a particular recording or record.

7. Cookies and browser storage

The member app uses cookies and browser storage needed for sign-in, session continuity and app functions. Technical connection information is also processed when pages and media are delivered. This notice does not treat an optional marketing or tracking choice as permission given merely by visiting a page.

8. Your rights

Depending on the information and the legal basis for using it, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or a portable copy. You can withdraw consent where processing relies on it.

Your right to object

You can object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your situation. You can also object to direct marketing at any time.

Use the contact routes above to make a request. Christian may need to verify your identity before releasing or changing private member information. If FRGD cannot fulfil all of a request, you will be told why. You can complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), or contact it on 0303 123 1113.

9. Request account or data deletion

  1. Contact Christian through Send It or WhatsApp at +44 7596 098470.
  2. Say "Delete my FRGD data" and identify your member account using the email you signed up with. Specify if you want a particular message or recording removed instead of your whole account. Do not send your password or sign-in code.
  3. Christian will verify the request, explain any records that must be retained, and coordinate deletion of eligible account records and media with the relevant providers.

Deleting FRGD's copies does not delete messages already held on your own or another participant's WhatsApp device. You can manage those copies in WhatsApp. Logging out, withdrawing messaging consent or removing a Meta connection does not by itself delete records held by FRGD.

10. Changes to this notice

This page will be updated when the service's use of information changes. The date at the top identifies the current version; material changes affecting your information will be brought to your attention.
